About the “Lefty Food Trucks”
In March 2016, we launched the first round of our Wednesday Night Special “Lefty Food Trucks”, which proved to be a great success.
Each week, different vendors were invited to sell their tasty wares in the car park, creating a multicultural blend of foods and flavours. General Manager Peter Watts said this unique project was an initiative of The Left Bank, collaborating with local food truck owners. “We encourage customers to buy from the food trucks, then bring their meals into the venue. Customers were able to match their meals with drinks from the bar and enjoy comfortable, relaxed seating in the Beer Garden,” he explained.
“It’s one of the flew places where you can have a beer whilst eating food truck dishes! It’s great for a relaxed night with friends – a fun alternative to the traditional restaurant dining experience.” says regular Rodney D.
Adding to the great atmosphere, there is also live music from local acoustic artists in the Beer Garden. Complemented beautifully by spectacular sunsets and the gentle lapping of waves on the banks of the Swan, it creates a laid-back ambience.
All spots for the 2017/18 seasons have already been filled. If you have a Food Truck and would like to be involved in the next season in 2018/19 or have any enquiries, please contact our Marketing Manager Julia.
